COMPOSITION

The metal frame holds a flush metal door through a simple concealed pivot hinge device. The door is held closed with a concealed budget lock (BL) which opens towards the user.

• Fire rated up to 120 minutes, depending on size and orientation of panel
• Bi-directionally tested for fire integrity from both sides, when mounted vertically for wall access
• Lightweight, flush metal door with aesthetic finish
• Foil backed mineral wool liner
• Intumescent and smoke seal gasket
• Doors are removable if damage occurs or during installation
• Panels are supplied with simulated dry wall beaded frames (BF) and decorated on site to match the colour and texture of adjacent finish
• Concealed budget lock supplied with a white, round bung
• A constant 2mm gap is maintained between the door and frame by the ‘dome location’ system
• Smoke sealed
• Single door (SD) configuration
• Fully recyclable at end of life

A range of stock sizes are available for fast delivery or access panels are made to order to meet bespoke requirements.

FRAME

1.2mm thick, electro-galvanised mild steel incorporating a dry wall edge bead profile (BF)  or a picture frame (PF) to suit finishing requirements.

Manufactured in our UK factory to specified overall frame size.

Powder coat finished in etched white primer.

DOOR

1.2mm thick, electro-galvanised mild steel frame with flush faced tray.

Door tray and frame finished in etched white primer.

LOCKS

Available with;

FIRE RATING

The 1000-1FR Access Panel has a 1hr Fire rating to BS EN 1634-1: 2000
The 1000-2FR Access Panel has a 2hr Fire rating to BS EN 1634-1: 2000

• Independently third party fire-rated.
• Fire rating depends on the size and orientation of the panel.
• Bi-directionally tested for fire integrity from both sides, when mounted vertically for wall access.
• Fire-rated up to 120 minutes for single door (SD) configuration for wall panel only, maximum leaf width = 684mm ( at 1242mm high), maximum leaf height = 1370mm (at 620mm wide) 600 mm x 1200 mm maximum.

ACOUSTIC SHIELDING

The PRIMA 1000 Series, fire rated access panel has a standard acoustic rating of 35dB (Wall applications only).
