A range of LPS 1175 third party certified intruder resistant doors manufactured in the UK. The TUFF-DOR is designed to protect against unauthorised entry from intruders such as burglars, criminals, terrorists, activists and protesters.
The TUFF-DOR helps to deter and delay access to residential and commercial properties. It is ideal for facilities at enhanced risk of attack from experienced intruders, for example, high value storage areas, warehouses, retail stores and apartments with obscured entry points.

LPS 1175 SECURITY RATING
LPS 1175 SR2 - the TUFF-DOR2 has been tested to LPS 1175 security rating 2 to resist an attack time of up to 3 minutes and a maximum attack duration of 15 minutes. The TUFF-DOR2 is specified for residential and lower commercial risk premises.
LPS 1175 SR3 - the TUFF-DOR3 has been tested to LPS 1175 security rating 3 to resist an attack time of up to 5 minutes and a maximum attack duration of 20 minute. The TUFF-DOR3 is specified for use in commercial locations where there is an enhanced chance of intruder attack and where the attack is likely to be more sustained.
LPS 1175 SR4 – the TUFF-DOR4 has been certified to LPS 1175 security rating 4 to resist an attack time of up to 10 minutes and a maximum attack duration of 30 minutes. The TUFF-DOR4 is specified for commercial premises exposed to a high level of risk of attack from an intruder.

MANUAL HANDLING
TUFF-DOR2 leaves, weighing approx 100kg, can be manually handled on site with a minimum of four operatives. TUFF-DOR3 and TUFF-DOR4 leaves require mechanical means to distribute and install.
WALL CONSTRUCTION
The opening must be fully formed from a material with sufficient composition strength to with stand a minimum load/fixing of 7N/nm2 (such as concrete or brick). Aerated concrete is not recommended and hollow brick / block should only be considered if suitably backfilled with materials that will provide adequate strength (7N/nm2) to take the frame fixings.
